Heard this lash-up at Clifton the night before. Not sure who was leading, but it was sounding off a beautiful Nathan P3, and it rang yet again when the engineer spotted me waiting for him. (Yes, I was off the ballast - note the pesky weeds on the right.)
Apparently this movement is off to CR Tower, an atypical destination for the P58, which is normally the "Rock Runner" to Vulcan Materials at Edsall Rd.
But I like surprises like this, as well as the look of this train that makes it feel like we could still be the 1970s... Oh, and did I mention both are high-hood units? Winning.
