Lucky! Been reading about this, but I'm sorta... Too far away to get a proper shot. :XD:

VERY lucky - this is my only day off during the week. Any other day and I would have missed it as well.

You mean you don't have Canon's EF 12000000000mm f/0.01L IS USM macro lens? Pity. :P

Nothing a large array of giant mirrors can't handle. Or a nice strong Fata Morgana. :XD:

Was that a reference to my latest DSO post? :XD: Or did you just use that allusion by chance just now?

I'm not sure what a DSO post is but... :o

Nah, I'm just picturing giant mirrors floating in the sky from Germany to the US, aimed in such a way that you are able to use that lens for the shot. The Fata Morgana reference I got from reading about optical phenomena that mess with the horizon and allow objects near the ground to appear higher up than they really are (ignoring superior/inferior images and distortion that is also present). And THAT I got from reading about the sinking of the Titanic (again).

I really need to stay off of Wikipedia. :D

Oh, okay... :XD: I almost always add a link to my photos, along the lines of "...and more shots in my DSO post, as usual." DSO is a well known German railroad forum where I post many pics that don't make it onto dA, and my most recent thread has Fata Morgana in its title, due to all the heat distortion: [link] Had to play around with the big lens a bit. x)

LOL, yeah, I know what you mean about Wiki! But at least one gathers (sometimes useless) knowledge.
