Nah, I'm just picturing giant mirrors floating in the sky from Germany to the US, aimed in such a way that you are able to use that lens for the shot. The Fata Morgana reference I got from reading about optical phenomena that mess with the horizon and allow objects near the ground to appear higher up than they really are (ignoring superior/inferior images and distortion that is also present). And THAT I got from reading about the sinking of the Titanic (again).
Oh, okay... I almost always add a link to my photos, along the lines of "...and more shots in my DSO post, as usual."
