VRE '27 had two MPIs on the point today. Not sure exactly why... Usually means mechanical trouble with the second unit, so it's likely DIT on its way to Broad Run to get fixed up. Interesting to see these locomotives lashed together elephant style - they might actually look like legit passenger locomotives if they were to MPU them back-to-back like the old EMD E- & F-Units.
Another oddity, note that this train is on the No. 2 main. Apparently the switch at CP Clifton (five miles south) would not re-orient itself to the normal position, so 327 was diverted to the No. 2 at CP Burke and required protection on the No. 1 side to detrain passengers.
